• Workshop for Heads and Chairs at AGU
  

  This one-day workshop provides an opportunity for leaders of geoscience departments to come together to learn, share, and build community to collectively strengthen geoscience programs and departments.

  SERC is now hosting the website for the PROmoting Geoscience, Research, Education and SuccesS (PROGRESS) Program. Progress aims to mentor STEM undergraduates who identify as women interested in the Geosciences through a combination of formal and informal, professional and peer mentoring.

• Visible Geology teaching activities
  

  Developed by geoscience faculty, these versatile, single-day teaching activities utilize Seequent's Visible Geology web-based application to strengthen students' spatial reasoning and geological analysis skills. Designed for quick integration into homework, lectures, or labs, they help prepare the next generation for the geoscience workforce.

The CLEAN site includes more than 850 ready-to-use resources that have been reviewed by educators and scientists for elementary, secondary and higher education settings.

Virtual Summer Experience for Early Research (VSEER)

The IINSPIRE Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation is sharing new resources for their Virtual Summer Experience for Early Research (VSEER) program. This is a multi-faceted research experience for LSAMP undergraduate scholars to deepen their understanding of methodologies, explore STEM disciplines, and define their interests.

The Math You Need, When You Need It Math Tutorials for Students Majoring in the Earth Sciences

Undergraduate majors in the Earth and environmental sciences also often struggle with effectively applying math in Earth science. This project is developing co-curricular modules to support majors-level students on math concepts relevant to their courses.
